Two front doors, one extraordinary address

Tocumwal Airpark is a residential aviation community where your home and your aircraft share the same address

Designed for pilots and their families who want more than a house: a life shaped by open skies, river living, and the freedom to fly whenever the mood takes you.

The Airpark concept

At Tocumwal Airpark, every lot has two front doors — one facing the street, one facing the sky.

From the street, your home presents as a contemporary Australian residence — warm, welcoming, architecturally considered. At the rear, your hangar opens directly onto a sealed private taxiway connecting you to the Tocumwal Aerodrome in under a minute.

No airport drives. No compromise.

More than a subdivision

We're building a community shaped by freedom, connection and the joy of flight. A place where neighbours wave from the cockpit, where sunsets stretch across wide open skies, and where Murray River living meets the thrill of aviation.

Tocumwal Airpark is for people who want space, simplicity, and the ability to live life on their own terms. want space, simplicity, and the ability to live life on their own terms.

A town with aviation in its DNA

During World War II, Tocumwal Aerodrome was one of the largest and busiest air bases in the southern hemisphere — a staging point for Allied operations across the Pacific. The runways that pilots taxi along today are the same ones that Liberator bombers used eight decades ago.

That history never really left. Tocumwal remains a town that understands aviation — that sees a light aircraft overhead not as a nuisance but as a neighbour. The local flying community is active, welcoming and deeply connected, with easy camaraderie, shared stories, and the kind of hangar culture that only exists where flying is part of everyday life.

The airport is home to the Murray Border Flying Club, which brings people together through monthly breakfast mornings, club activities and relaxed fly‑outs, along with the Tocumwal Soaring Club — one of Australia’s premier gliding destinations.
